Brian is a veteran fundamental investment analyst turned data specialist, leveraging 20+ years of expertise at the intersection of alternative data, investing, and AI. He demonstrates a rare blend of institutional hedge fund investing experience and data strategy expertise, bridging traditional fundamental analysis with data strategy and data science. He most recently served as the COO of Kyber Data Science, where he also served as Head of Data Sourcing and Strategic Development, helping to build the company from inception (as first employee) through its successful sale to Forian, Inc. Previously, he ran his own data consulting practice, servicing hedge funds and data vendors. Prior to that, he also served as COO of Tangent Data Services and worked for several public equity hedge funds including Soros and SAC. Brian now focuses on advising hedge funds, data companies, and early stage AI companies, leveraging his expertise in Investment management, research, and data monetization.
